Obituary for William (Bill) Bausman Verdier

A Celebration of Life for Bill Verdier for friends and family in or near Nashville was held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at McNamara’s Irish Pub and Restaurant, 2740 Old Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN

This message went out before the service: “Please bring stories and thoughts about Bill that you would like to share, and bring your instrument(s) to join in playing tunes in a session before and after the program. Musicians, one request: consider learning the tune The Kilfenora, and Bill’s favorite setting of it, if you don’t already know it. This beautiful tribute video by Sean Cunningham gives the setting and the backstory.
Many thanks to Sean and Paula McNamara for hosting the celebration.”

The service was streamed live and recorded, the recording can be viewed at facebook.com/groups/BillVerdier, look for the April 8th post.
